Hey so I know on the last show Tim was talking about the new ASrock system, and I was thinking...if that thing could run CoD4, then could it not be used as a very light, very easy set up lan system? I mean if it could run CoD4 it should be able to pull off most things at a...desent FPS. Anyone know anything else on this system? I am really thinking of getting one cause I hate lugging around my big box, and you really don't need hella high graphics if your just hitting up some TF2.

Personally, you'd be better off with a laptop for portable gaming needs. While Ion and it's brood are awesome low-power computers, don't for a second think that it'll replace the horsepower of a full-on desktop or laptop when it comes to frame rates. Your call, but I'd think about it a bit. I find netbooks to be neat little toys, but that's about it. The keyboards on most are too small, and if wanted to squint that bad while using a computer, I'd take my glasses off. |

Alright sweet. Thanks for the input, and thanks for the video Tim. I guess the only rebut I would have on the idea of getting a laptop (which I would love to get a better one) is the fact that the cost benefit I still don't think is there yet. I mean you can pick up a shitty little dell for the same price as that ASRock system, but to get comparable..well given I don't know as I have not run it through test, but I still think it would cost more, even to just get comparable. But then again I could be wrong.

Hey sorry Jimsson, I meant no offense at all, I mean hell most of my computers up to this point have been dells, but you do have to admit that dell makes some really shitty low end computers. Just the nature of the industry.
