Guys, Greetings from Scotland!

Firstly what an awesome show, every episode cracks me up.

A few shows ago you mentioned something about storing Xbox games on the machines HD. Firstly, how do you do this and what are the advantages.

Cheers and keep up the great work.

We were talking about the recent 360 update that lets you plug in external USB hard drives, but you can't install games there only media like music or videos.

You can install games on the 360s built-in HD by navigating to the game disk in dashboard, hitting Y and then selecting install game. Game loads, etc., are a little faster but the biggest benefit in my opinion is the reduced noise from not having the DVD drive spinning up all the time.

What we were talking about on the show was keeping save games on there. Not sure if it supports moving arcade games though. Anyone know?

It was a simpler time. Technology was cruder; pixels were bigger.

Nope, but gien the secondary laptop only has an original 20GB drive I'll give this a go tonight, have a USB/SD card jobbie that I'm not using which should fit the purpose well.
