I have a chatpad for my Xbox controller, and I've always had it be temperamental. Sometimes the keyboard just decides to not work, though the headset always does.

Now they keyboard's not working at all. Going to have to buy another one, but I'm wondering if anyone else here uses one and if you've had trouble with it.

Nope, never had an issue.  Probably the best peripheral I've bought for the 360.

Its very laggy and inaccurate. The space bar has to be pounded to register a click and a lot of times when im typing fast it will just leave letters out all together. It started fine but its turned into a useless add on for me.

Think of how stupid the average person is and then realize that half the people are dumber than that

The chatpad is one of the best things i have bought for the xbox 360, since i hate using the xbox-keyboard and controllstick. The only drawback for me, and it is a regional thing. I am missing 3 letters (æ, ø and å) without having to add another buttonpress into the whole thing. have not noticed that the space-button is hard to use at all.

No problems with mine, I would not like to not have one.  It should be standard lol.

Yeah. Bought a new one. Now I have ANOHTER headset that I'm not going to use.

What to do with them (I think I have four or five now...) Make Christmas tree ornaments? Play an Xbox-flavored version of Barrel of Monkeys?

I have one, and it works okay--there's a couple of wonky buttons, but as long as I pay attention, it works fine.  My thing is that I usually don't have it connected.  When I do send a message on X Blah ( I love that!) it's too much of a pain in the ass to get up, walk across the room, attach the dohickey, and type away.  By the time I do that, my message would have been done and sent already!  On occasion I'll hook it up, but that's the exception.
